A few weeks ago, I teamed up with several of my strategic partners to put on our quarterly Marketing event that we give locally here in Arlington.

During the event, I speak about sharing your story and my partners talk about the power of video, reading your financial statements/budgeting, and doubling your sales.

The workshop is fun, engaging, and gives a lot of value.

One of the main themes we talk about to successfully market your business is to share your story across multiple platforms.

You can use elements of your story for your book, blog, emails, online courses, podcast interviews, and other platforms.

Main point is that your story can be shared through many avenues.

With 2019 wrapping up, I challenge you to start thinking about the story that you want to share with the world, especially going into 2020.

We have on-boarded multiple new clients over the past six weeks who are wanting to share their story through getting published.

Their books will be released during the first quarter of 2020 as that is one of the best times of the year to share your story with the world.

It is also a great way to commit to keeping your new years resolutions.

Sharing your story is the most important way to not only connect with current prospects, but also to create stronger bonds with current clients.

People do not care about a script or a pitch, they want to genuinely connect with others and there is no better way to grow your business then by being authentic and sharing your story.

How will you share your story in 2020?

This is what happened on the Get Published Podcast last week.

In episode 425, I interviewed my client, Michael Boothby about Getting On Adult Swim to promote his best selling book.

In episode 426, I interviewed Dr. Earl W. Flora about Target Marketing on LinkedIn.

In episode 427, I interviewed Christina Major about Communication Strategy With Professional Groups On LinkedIn.

In episode 428, I interviewed Dr. Irene Cop about Brand Building on Social Media.

In episode 429, I interviewed Phyllis Washington about utilizing LinkedIn Outreach effectively.
